You Are Jerusalem Above (Part:2)

Introduction

Now let us think about spiritual Jerusalem, which is also being converted. God refers to His Church as "Jerusalem" in numerous passages in the Bible. Why would God apply this term to His Church? This is an important and profound question to answer. To God, Jerusalem is much more than a physical place. It's more than a city with a unique history and an incredible future. When you study these passages and consider what His people have written about them, you will see that this Jerusalem embodies an astonishing spiritual vision and reality. 

The city of Jerusalem  reveals the plan of God, the gospel of God and the incredible human potential. For God's people, Jerusalem must be deeply personal. When we look at Jerusalem, God wants us to see our own past and future. If you are a baptized member of His Church, God actually calls you, JERUSALEM!

Applied Principle 

No matter what walks of life you came from, your new identity in God is awesome. Your newness of life in Him is in full potential. You are part of the Church, His Chosen Jerusalem. You are the citizen of heavenly Jerusalem or Jerusalem above, so in His kingdom, you are free. Your old man has gone and your new man has come. You are a new creature, have been created to bear your heavenly Father's image - His likeness. You are now become the city of peace, like your new name "Jerusalem." You are the extremely awesome city with fully inhabited people. May the spirit of Jerusalem be engraved in you for eternity!
